MAKES ABOUT .25 CUP

Ingredients:

¼ cup Manuka honey or raw local honey

2 tablespoons grated fresh turmeric root or 2 teaspoons turmeric powder

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 to 3 dashes of cayenne

Instructions:

1 Run the outside of a small glass jar under hot water so it’s nice and warm and will soften the honey for easier mixing.

3 Mix 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of the honey into a cup of hot water and enjoy often.
